Red Bridge Road (RBR) started in 2006 as The Brian Sandmoen Trio: Brian Sandmoen, Ed Rodriguez and Rick Alley. It was under that moniker they played for Brian's First Annual 50th birthday party. Currently, RBR is a 6-piece team. Here's a quick profile on each of the guys.

Brian Sandmoen - vocals, guitar, harmonica, mandolin

Ask how long Brian has loved music, and he'll say "Forever". Growing up in Kansas City during the 1960's and 70's near the Red Bridge Road, Brian learned to play guitar and sing. Performing live is a passion for him. RBR provides a platform to share his voice and musicianship with equally gifted and talented players resulting in a sound unique to the band, while paying respect to the original artists. He writes songs and plays regularly as a solo artist for private events and in local live music venues. Follow him on MySpace for more information, including his schedule.

Ed Rodriguez - drums, vocals

Born in Kansas City, Kansas he's been interested in music since playing his mom's pots and pans at 3 years old and then bongos at 4. He graduated to a drum set in 1970. His neighbor hated him coming in at all times of the day or night to play on their kit so they changed their locks. He's been influenced by the world's greatest drummer Buddy Rich, although he can't play like Buddy even in his dreams' dreams. He also plays congas, bongos, timbales and other noise making things. He has a background in choral vocals singing with the former Pontifical Choir of Kansas City/St. Joseph Diocese for 13 years. If you hear him singing in church just cover your ears. Musical preferences are Buddy, Basie, Bach, and Beatles. Who knew?

Rick Alley - bass guitar, vocals

Born and raised in the Kansas City area, he's been in and out of bands since junior high school. Well, actually grade school if we include his brief encounter with the clarinet. In addition to providing 50% of the thump in the RBR rhythm section, he contributes a healthy dose of background vocals. When not playing with RBR, he's been known to sit in with another group, the Weasels. See what he does at his day job as an Art Director, Graphic Designer and Illustrator, by visiting his home page at www.RickAlley.net.

Kevin Gregg - acoustic guitar, tenor sax, vocals

Kevin was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. While growing up near Red Bridge Road in south KC, his home was always filled with music – everything from his two older brother's recordings of the "Fab Four", the Doors, the Who, and Santana – to his parents' Glenn Miller, Nat King Cole and Sinatra records. Kevin started learning to play the saxophone in the fifth grade and continued playing through high school. He picked up the guitar at age 13 and started writing songs and singing at 16. He's been a member of Mission Blues since the early 90's and continues to play and record with them. Kevin's musical influences include those mentioned above, as well as many others – from Coltrane to Zappa.

Dan Gasser - keyboards, vocals

AKA: Gasman. Originally from Inglewood, CA, where he attended Saddleback college. After a stint working cruise ships in the Caribbean, he's settled into the Kansas City area. He's also been known to play with the Automatics and Sellout. When he's not playing music you're likely to find him mountain biking, fishing, hunting or watching the English Premiership Soccer. Specifically, Manchester United.

Tony Mannino - lead guitar, vocals

Born and raised in Kansas City by wolves and such, Tony was weaned on music, foreign and other Italian food, the Chiefs, and howling at the moon. The music stuck, as well as the food, to culminate into a lover of tasty tunes during a great musical era. He first played the pool cue, then moved on to the six-string variety of guitar. Now he implements a guitar-synth for extra textures. He also works with the band Flashback and is influenced by The Beatles, Genesis, Yes, and some 31 year-old hardened resin. Still.
