Rock 'n' soul – from the Road.
…Comes Together in yet another YouTube video on RBR’s YouTube channel.
RBR is diggin’ the ’70s and ’80s – a heady time when some of us were Yellowjackets and we thought we could actually change the world if we could only just hold up two Peace fingers and get everyone to sing Kum By Yah. (Then we grew up to become our parents, of course…)
Red Bridge Road is about the songs we hope you dug way back then – - – and still dig. Thanks for supporting the band. If you think you are our fans, you are wrong. We Are *Your* Fans!! .
Here’s a new video clip on the RBR YouTube channel. We borrowed “Come Together” from the Beatles – and for some Kamikaze reason sprinkled in some Traffic (Steve Winwood) & The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. This track may not change the world, but mebbe you’ll enjoy some memories of Your ’70s Dream. (Note the Guitar Strap #FAIL at 3:41. Hey, when Life happens, you have to play right thru it. Tru ‘Dat!)
Don’t miss the next installment of RBR – Saturday night 2/20/10 – at Sunset Grill on Metcalf at 145th Street in Overland Park. 7PM party start – - and a Special Mystery Guest!!

Well now! What do you know? Even tho it may be a frigid winter day, the Red Bridge Road Band is about to be Hot To Trot.
That’s right – RBRB is back at the Sunset Grille (145th & Metcalf; Overland Park KS) on Saturday night February 20, 2010. It’s been several weeks since the last blowout – and RBRB is all keyed up to bring some boss new tunes —> and to break yet another attendance record at SG. We need you to help us heat things up after this cold snap we’ve been having. AND – DON’T MISS our Special Mystery Guest! If you went to Center High School you don’t want to miss this moment.”

On behalf of the band and me (Brian), I heartily thank all of you for your friendship and support – - and wish all of you the happiest of holidays.
We’re currently working to put together an audio demo so we can use it to book some great shows. We’ll keep you posted on shows we’ll be playing – it’s going to be a great New Year. Don’t forget to keep sending us your suggestions: songs you want us to do, places we should play, facial hair we should grow or shave. You’re our fans – and we are your biggest fans.
Look for us on Facebook. Tell your friends! Thanks again to all of you who follow the Road!

Rock with the Road,
RBR Band
I just wanted to take the time to acknowledge all the friends and fans of the Red Bridge Road Band. It has been a truly wonderful experience to play & perform for you. Nothing’s better than seeing people smiling, dancing and singing along with us as we play some of the truly great songs of all time.
And on a personal note, I want to let you know how great you made Brian’s 3rd Annual 50th Birthday Bash. I have received your comments and compliments about the band and am really humbled and grateful for all your kindness and support. I also would like to thank the band Ed, Rick, KG and Leo the Bud for all your hard work and your friendship. You are all great players and I am honored to play with you.

Please come out to the Sunset Grill on Saturday 11/14/09 to help me celebrate my 3rd annual 50th Birthday Extravaganza. Me and the boys in the band will be kicking live and hard that evening – and I’m sure you’ll have a great time. Sunset Grill is located at 14577 Metcalf in Overland Park. Many thanks go out to our friends at the Sunset Grill – and our congratulations to them on their anniversary. 4 years in business! Cool!!
We appreciate that they invited RBR to help make their special day more fun. (& we hope that the next time there are so many free giveaways, there’s a few left over for the band.) We also thank all of our friends old and new who came out to support and listen to KC’s one-and-only Red Bridge Road Band. No one threw a single tomato! The Sunset Grill celebrated their beginning on the same night that the Red Bridge Road Band played their first gig.
The Road Begins!
It’s coming. Do you feel it? It starts low, sweet, and slow from a long way off, building steam it roars towards you like a freight train. Like the train that’s been travelling those tracks near Red Bridge Road…

Get your ticket and climb aboard the maiden voyage at the Sunset Grill, Saturday November 7, 2009 at 7:30 pm. The Sunset Grill is located at 14577 Metcalf in Overland Park, Kansas. Welcome to the Red Bridge Road.
Red Bridge Road is a band. The 30-year-old collective dream of some south-KC ’60’s and ’70s suburban wannabe-rebels has finally grown into a project worthy of the world’s notice. We grew up together, went to the same schools, had the same principals, teachers, scoutmasters, and coaches, and (as it turns out) like exactly the same music!
Read on, if you dare:
The Red Bridge Road band is a 5-(count ‘em) piece music group. It’s the standard instruments: guitars, pianos and organs, a drumset, and the sweet sax stylings of KG Slimm. But just like there are lots of ways to skin a cat, and lots of cats to skin, and we do dream a lot – - so we don’t ever do just one thing: instead, we do almost everything, we’ll try just about anything, and we’ll laugh about every bit of it with you every time we see you. You’ll see!!
Here’s what Red Bridge Road does:
* plays the rock ‘n’ soul hits you like in clubs, restaurants, and honky-tonks.
* entertains you with class, style, verve, and savoir-faire.
* stays true to its Red Bridge Road and Center High School roots.
* rocks and hangs out hard with the best of the best – you!!
Here’s what you can do for Red Bridge Road:
* spread the word (after you check us out, of course)
* sign up for our mailing list (more on that later)
* trust us to keep it classy and do it right
* accept our undying friendship and thanks
* tip your bartenders and waitresses
Your entertainment hours and dollars are valuable. We know they are important to you. Thanks for trusting us. Together, we’ll rock!
Keep your eyes on this site. We’re growing!!
Your friends at Red Bridge Road
